Shark Unit designed and developed by iMOS Starter which is a microcontroller based 3 Phase Motor Level Controller operated with/without GSM and is manufactured by IMIK Technologies. This organisation was established in 2007. They aim on providing reliable, robust and customized embedded products using easily available and cost effective components in the market for various sectors which include the Industrial Automation, Robotics, Agriculture, Automotive, Textile, Consumer and Defense.They are also engaged in providing a complete solution for developing prototypes using 3D printing technology.Starter is very important when protection of a motor is taken into consideration. Shark is a compatible digital controller unit for 3PH/2PH DOL & Star Delta Starters. This unit protects the motor from Dry Run Condition, Overloading, Phase Sequencing and High/Low/Different Voltage Failures It has been made user friendly by operating it in two modes a)Auto mode (Via GSM And IVRS) and b) Manual mode. This Unit encompasses of modem, antenna and micro sim card slot where 4 different numbers can be configured. Also to keep this unit in wakeup mode 24X7, a battery has been incorporated. Shark unit is capable of configuring basic settings like High/Low Voltage as well as Current and ON/OFF of Cyclic timer and also advanced settings like Dry Run Restart Time, Auto Start Time and Star Delta Time. 3PH/2PH supply selection options are included. Main benefit of Shark unit is that all the system parameters can be configured via SMS. Continuous live monitoring of the motor operation is available via SMS alerts.
